The logo or graphics representing any company are very important for branding. Entrepreneurs, such as Charles Phillips understand this. Successful companies all have a very recognizable logo, which most of us know what it represents before we can even read the company name. McDonald’s golden arches or the Bulls eye Target uses are just a couple of examples of logos most recognize very easily.
Looking at the top graphics for companies around the world, it’s easy to see some of the similarities they have. Many of the top graphics for large companies are very simple, direct and contain color. Some of these companies didn’t start with color and simplicity, but as they gained national recognition, they made the necessary changes. Here’s a list of the top five graphics for large companies:
Starbucks
The original Starbucks graphic was all black and white and a bit busy. They changed their graphic to include a green color and made it much simpler. Now, their logo is recognized all over the world by many.

FedEx
FedEx used to be called Federal Express, but it’s now recognized as FedEx. They changed from a logo with the entire name to one just reading FedEx with the right colors. This simple change took their graphic from bland to what we recognize today.

Samsung
As the world of technology changes, so did the graphic representing Samsung. They used to front a logo with small colors of red and their name. Now, we recognize their logo as a blue oval shaped logo with the word “Samsung” worked in.

Apple
You may remember the old Apple logo with all the colors and this is one of the few that completely eliminated color and found their identity. Now the Apple graphic looks almost metallic and is easily recognized all over the world.

Google started with a graphic with bubble letters and an exclamation point. This logo was outdated and looked cheap. They changed to a graphic with similar colors, but a simpler look.

How These Companies Changed
With a simple change to the graphic representing these five companies, they were able to brand their products much easier. Some hired professionals to help with the redesign and by using the knowledge of someone, such as Oracle’s Charles Phillips helped them to get the right design for their new logo. Phillips is an experienced entrepreneur and understands how important graphics are for companies.
